Sales Development Representative

From our HQ in Sweden, we’ve shown great success in Scandinavia and now we are ready to introduce our innovative technology to the rest of Europe by growing our sales team out of Amsterdam. 

We’re looking for a creative and passionate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in helping us grow our client base throughout Europe. As the first point of contact with prospects, you are not only crucial to the sales process but also the face of the company. Your role is to seek out and engage “good fit” hotels and chains through strategic prospecting by leveraging Proposales’ existing leads and generate new interest through traditional and creative methods to set our closers up for success.

Your mission: 

  • Based within our Sales Team, you’ll work with your teammates and the wider RevOps Team to develop innovative strategies for uncovering new opportunities.
  • Connect with prospect hotels and chains and learn about their business challenges to determine whether Proposales can serve as a solution.
  • Use your business sharpness to concisely communicate the value of Proposales to qualified prospects and gain interest in a more in-depth conversation with an Account Executive.

A bit about the role:

  • Help hotels in Europe realise the benefits of upgrading to a modern RFP process by creating long-term relationships. 
  • Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, social media, and attending industry events throughout Europe 
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Sales Team to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies and plans
  • Work internally with the Sales Team and wider RevOps Teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of demos
  • Schedule product demos for an assigned Account Executive
  • Effectively utilise modern sales tools in your day to day work
  • Reporting to and get support from the Head of Sales in your daily tasks and weekly meetings. 
  • Returning sales and industry training to constantly learn and optimise the overall sales strategy and grow your individual performance. 

About you:

  • You’ve previous sales development experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed quotas 
  • A sharp focus on your goals and a strong approach for achieving them
  • You’ll have an innate sense of curiosity. You’ll address challenges openly, and thoughtfully, and you’ll understand the impact of your work on the wider team
  • Exceptional communication skills. You’ll be persuasive, professional and adept at engaging with external prospects through verbal and written platforms
  • A technical mindset, you’ll pick up our tech quickly and be able to explain it fluently to our target customers
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
  • The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in both verbal and written English and one other European language.
